If you shop during the evening, that’s when you are most likely to find Steve at the Anything Canine boutique. Looking for a particular product or need a suggestion to solve a problem? Just ask Steve. He knows his way around the shelves and will help you find what you need!

Which of your past work experiences do you draw on in this position?

I bring more than eight years of experience in retail to my position at Anything Canine, with four of those years in retail management.

What background do you have working with pets or pet owners?

I am an Orange County Reserve Park Ranger so I have had plenty of training to work with wildlife and I have experience with a variety of animals. I also have owned dogs my whole life.

Tell us about your hobbies.

I love the outdoors: hiking, camping, fishing, rock climbing, and playing with my dog.

What do you like about being part of AC team?

Meeting all the cool dogs who walk into the shop. Oh yeah -- and their owners, too!

If you were to temporarily become a dog, like in the Disney movie “The Shaggy D.A.,” which breed would you prefer to be and why?

I would be a boxer because they are always happy and they’re ready to play just like I am!
