A crowd of excited dogs and their owners were on hand to help us open at our new location in downtown Laguna Beach on Thursday, May 5 with a Cinco de Mayo celebration. If you missed the fun, check out the photos on our Facebook page.

Mayor Toni Iseman, Chamber Executive Rose Hancock, members of the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce and other notable guests were on hand to help cut the ribbon for the official opening of our shop. Owner Lee Ann Litterst and the rest of her Anything Canine team hosted celebrity vendors all weekend long including dog clothing designers Linda Higgins, Susan Lanci and Jake Dynnis.

As part of the Grand Opening, we held a doggie fashion show and contest. A number of adorable pups paraded in everything from casual t-shirts to stunning feathered headgear which made it really hard for our judges to pick just one favorite to win the stunning dress provided by designer Linda Higgins. Charming Georgia, accompanied by her owner Nanette Baker, was chosen as the first place winner and Isabella, accompanied by Kathy Warren, came in as a close second.

All of the glamorous dogs who participated were a joy to watch strutting down our fashion show runway. Many thanks to everyone who participated!
